I'm Benjamin Howe, the creator of The Essayist, a professionally accredited proofreader, and I personally tend to every piece of work we receive.

I graduated my English course at Exeter University with a 1st Class Honours, and an award for Outstanding Achievement. I continued from there to pursue my professional proofreading diploma, and am also a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders. Whatever your work requires, you can be sure then that I have a most solid foundation, and up to date knowledge in the field.
But it's also a personal service. I pride myself on being sensitive to the different needs of different writers. Whether it's an essay, a business pitch, or a letter to a friend, I tailor every piece of work to suit the individual. Each piece is priced individually, and you're the one who decides how much you need. If you need, any changes will be given to you in the final document to decide on yourself.
