The Essayist's professional proofreading service is all you need to make your documents great. Whether it's a personal letter, businiess pitch, essay, or any other text, we'll make sure that everything reads perfectly. Our styles conform to the Oxford English Dictionary and Fowler's Modern English Usage, and we'll explain anything that you require clarifying in your proofs.
The proofreading service will:

Correct spelling, grammar, and syntax errors

Check and correct language usage problems

Assess the style and tone and make suggestions for consistency

Give you a copy of corrections using the British Standard Proofreading marks, with descriptions, if you need.

Return the document as a finished product - a Word document attached to an email that's ready to use.
We work with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders's guidelines and prices to ensure a professional service. Each document is individually priced and the prices sent to you to make sure you're happy before we go ahead.
An A4 document for proofreading (Times New Roman, font 12) will cost from £12, depending on how much work you need doing.
